So turning the big 30 this year was very anti climatic. I have planned numerous surprises for many others to celebrate this milestone. Mine. . .very boring. I found the only person who really cared was my wonderful husband who TRIED to surprise me and take me on a trip. Well, he got a little nervous and so he told 
me he was taking me "somewhere". So I said "ok well don't tell me where because I want to be surprised when we get to the airport." So he didn't tell me. So my birthday started out with Liv waking me up at the crack of dawn to tell me it was my birthday. Then Trent let me sleep in. (yeah) Then when I finally got up, I had to get me and the kids ready to go to Lauren's blessing. We went to that and then went to Marilyn's for the luncheon. Trent's aunt gave me a card that said "Have fun on your trip to San Francisco"! So the surprise was ruined. Oh well, she didn't know it was a surprise. Then I thought, well maybe my friends and family will surprise me later today. The day went on, and on, and on. We decided to go to my moms and pick up my birthday cards. No surprise there. Then I thought, ok it will be tonight when I get home. Nope, no surprise there. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything. So, now I will just look forward to flying out tomorrow morning to San Fran and just have my own little pity party.

I would seriously be so elated if my husband planned a trip for us at all, let alone for my birthday! I hope you have a fantastic time! Tell Trent he did well. My husband went hunting for my 30th birthday with the guys. (He doesn't even hunt!). Happy Birthday!
