This year we celebrated our 8th anniversary. (July 15th) Wow it's been a long time together. We actually started dating in high school, so that would be 1995. Now THAT is a long time! And we haven't killed each other yet!:) For our anniversary we were pretty lame. We went and got pedicures (yes my husband got a pedicure and boy did he need one!), then we decided to go see a movie since we had free passes. We also had free tickets for popcorn and drinks. When they handed us the popcorn, I felt like Mike Myers in So I Married an Ax Murderer "I think I ordered the LARGE popcorn" After that it was hard to find a place to eat that was open. So we decided to go to Joe's Crab Shack. When we were seated, I about barfed my guts out because of the smell. Seafood is not my favorite. So we ordered appetizers and ate as fast as we could and ran! When we were done with dinner, we didn't want to go home because it was only 10pm. So being as lame as we are, we went to Walmart and walked around. We bought a 3 hole punch and a crayon box. Exciting huh! That was the end of our lame anniversary.

I can't get over how funny you guys are. I love your blog and your anniversary? Hilarious. Free movie, seafood and Wal-mart. What a memory!
i hope you had a great anniversary! it's sure hard to go on a date when you have kids - because when you don't have the kids you just want to go to the grocery store:)
