This year we celebrated our 8th anniversary. (July 15th) Wow it's been a long time together. We actually started dating in high school, so that would be 1995. Now THAT is a long time! And we haven't killed each other yet!:) For our anniversary we were pretty lame. We went and got pedicures (yes my husband got a pedicure and boy did he need one!), then we decided to go see a movie since we had free passes. We also had free tickets for popcorn and drinks. When they handed us the popcorn, I felt like Mike Myers in So I Married an Ax Murderer "I think I ordered the LARGE popcorn" After that it was hard to find a place to eat that was open. So we decided to go to Joe's Crab Shack. When we were seated, I about barfed my guts out because of the smell. Seafood is not my favorite. So we ordered appetizers and ate as fast as we could and ran! When we were done with dinner, we didn't want to go home because it was only 10pm. So being as lame as we are, we went to Walmart and walked around. We bought a 3 hole punch and a crayon box. Exciting huh! That was the end of our lame anniversary.

Happy Fourth of July!
For the July festivities, we went down to the cabin on July 3rd. We stayed at Grandma Sheila's for the night. The Johnsons came down with us and stayed the night. The boys liked playing tractors in the dirt while Liv went and hunted lizards. The nights' sleep was absolutely horrible. We got Ethan to sleep, then made the mistake of going into his room and trying to open his window. Then Landon and Carter were screaming for hours. Kelly and Christy de
cided to drive around with them to get them to fall alseep. I ended up with both kids in bed with me and Trent slept in the day bed by himself. (Lucky him). I spent the rest of the night trying to keep Ethan from falling off the bed. Landon woke up later in the night and poor Kelly had to take him outside and swing him to sleep. Then we woke up to Ethan falling off the bed. We later went down to the parade. We had a great time and the kids got a ton of candy. Ethan really liked the fire trucks and the horses. L
andon and Carter really didn't care much for the parade, but oh well. We got lucky and were somewhat under the shade of a tree. We ended the day by coming home and BBQ'ing and lighting fireworks with the friends. We had a great day!

New Addition
She is finally here! After MANY years of waiting, we finally got baby Lauren here. This is baby Lauren, daughter of Ryan and Teri Devey (Trent's brother). I remember Teri trying to get pregnant at the same time I was pregnant with Alivia (who is now 5). What a miracle it is to finally meet her and hold her. We can't believe she is now here. We are so excited for Ryan and Teri to be parents and experience the wonder of having a baby. We are so excited for them to experience a whole new life. This little girl is one special little angel and we already love her to death! Ryan and Teri are the most deserving people to be able to have little Lauren and raise her. They are going to be wonderful parents to her. They deserve all the happiness in the world!

My Baby Girl
My baby girl isn't such a "baby" anymore! On April 18th she turned 5 years old!! WOW! I can remember when she was born and it didn't seem that long ago. She will be starting
kindergarten in the fall. For her birthday we had a little princess party with some of her friends from school. Then that night we went to ChuckECheese. She had a great birthday and was sad it was over. I was very excited when it was over. You can only countdown so many days in advance before you go mad! I think we starting counting down the days until her birthday at 45. I'm sad she is growing up but glad also.Posted by Shelley at 5:58 PM 3 comments

Fieldtrip!
re great. He was really excited when we first went in and saw the dinosaur in the lobby. Alivia was excited to show me what a paleontologist was and sang a song about it. They also thought the tunnel with the stars was really cool. If you haven't been there, you will have to go check it out to know what I am talking about. Ethan sat in the stoller for a good part of the time. I let him out to get a better view of some things. The only problem was that he was
the perfect size to sneak under the bars and climb on the exhibits. The only part Ethan was a little scared of was the T-Rex, but he was only scared for a second. I thought he would be scared
of the shark, but of course he wasn't! Alivia played in the water/sand thing they had. Ethan thought he "might" like it, but when he touched it, it was too much for him.We had a great time checking out the dino's, but we were beat by the end. Posted by Shelley at 9:16 PM 0 comments
